Age restrictions - The
person making the rental booking must be at least 25 years of age and
present at the holiday house during the booked period. This person is also
responsible to ensure the house is left in good order and may be liable for
extra charges for any damage or excessive rubbish left on site.
PLEASE NOTE - CLEANING: You are expected to be tidy and leave the house
in good order. Although we clean after you so that the house is ready for
the next guests, you are expected to leave the kitchen, appliances and dishes clean,
clean the BBQ after use and place all rubbish in Council approved bags at the bottom of the
drive-way. Any extraordinary cleaning (e.g. stains on carpet, marks on
walls, BBQ or oven left unclean) or damage may result in extra charges. Please
also refer to the Guest Guide at the house for more details.
Bond -
The property manager reserves the right to charge a bond
in advance of your stay to cover the cost of any potential damage or unreasonable
amount of cleaning that may be required. This bond will be refunded once the property manager
is satisfied that the house has been left in good order. Refunds, whether in
part or full, will be at the sole discretion of the property manager.
Please note that photos on our website are not
all views of or from the house. On the Gallery page the "Benvenuti" link has
photos of the house or views from the house. The "Local Area" and "Misc"
links show various scenes from the local area (Kaiteriteri/ Abel Tasman).
Making a deposit to confirm the booking: To confirm the booking, a deposit of 30% is normally required.
Refund policy:
If you cancel your booking and a deposit (or
complete payment) has been paid, then the amount of refund will be dependent
on the length of advance notice given and whether or not the booking is
during high season. The following table shows the refunds applied:

Notes:
If the property manager is able to secure another booking
during the same period, then a greater refund may be granted – however
this is completely at the discretion of the property manager
Failure to pay the balance of the cost at least 1 month
prior to the start of your stay could result in the booking automatically
being cancelled – in
which case the above refund policy would apply.
